Journey of Mr. Siddharth Doshi

Mr. Siddharth started his life journey in 2011 by joining his family business. However, the family business was not sufficient to support everyone, prompting him to leave his village and work as a diamond worker in Mumbai. After two years of rigorous work in Mumbai, he moved to Surat and continued in the diamond industry. Over time, he had to quit the job due to the low salary and the associated risks. Determined to support his family and help them achieve financial stability, he started working as a diamond broker, undertaking significant risks and costs.

For three years, this work progressed smoothly and was even successful. However, Mr. Siddharth was not satisfied, as he didn’t feel that this field of work aligned with his aspirations. Subsequently, he moved to Ahmedabad to work in the textile industry. He began by carrying bags of clothes and traveling from city to city, showcasing his sample pieces to potential clients and striving to secure orders. This challenging work built his confidence and resilience. As the sole breadwinner of his family, his hard work began to bear fruit. After traveling extensively, he opened his first shop, specializing in ready-made blouses, which bore his name. Shortly thereafter, he inaugurated his second shop and got married in 2015.

The turning point in Mr. Siddharth’s life came during the challenging times of the coronavirus pandemic. Amidst the crisis, he took the initiative to help people on the streets and those assisting the sick, despite his family’s hesitations. He noticed his own health deteriorating but chose to distribute kahwa (a mix of green tea with spices) to those in need—police officials, people at traffic signals, and anyone reachable. For over two months, with the support of the Surat police, he distributed kahwa daily from 4 PM to 6 PM. In total, he served kahwa to 2.5 lakh people, making a small yet impactful contribution to their health during difficult times.

Without taking any help in money or in physical, he even provided medical kits or medical assistance in villages near Liladhar. At this time, when people saw him working hard for other people without even taking money as a donation, they suggested he open his own trust but due to his simplicity, he ignored these suggestions and continued working for the people in need, day and night.

In 2021, when coronavirus was a little better than before, Mr. Siddharth took part in a race being organized by Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. He had always dreamt of getting a car and traveling to India in it and this event marked his starting. The race was the longest race in the history of India, from Leh Ladakh to Kanyakumari, with more than 3900 km. The sole purpose of this race was to set a new record and enjoy an adventure which has never been done in just 72 hours. Although, for him, there was a huge challenge as he owned a Jaguar sedan car whilst others were in their SUVs, this posed a threat to his dedication to secure 1st position. His car’s tire even got burst on the way due to the heavy roads and uneven terrain. Despite these hardships, he took the race to his heart and tried his best and came in 3rd in that race. This race was registered in India Book Records and Asia Book Records for the longest race to be held in 72 hours. The race marked his popularity in Gujarat, as he was the one person who secured 3rd position in Gujarat.

There is one person who is the sole role model of Mr. Siddharth, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He has been a die-hard follower of Mr. Modi and has supported all of his ideologies to the par. And just in this manner, with the support of his car, he started to show his participation and appreciation for Mr. Modi’s work for India. Starting with Amrit Mahotsav, in which he covered his car with Indian flag stickers and customized it fully. After this, he took the initiative of distributing 10,000 flags to the people he found during his journey from Surat to Delhi.

He made small stops in between, in villages, schools, ongoing rallies, etc., and distributed flags to each one of them. He successfully completed his agenda in 4.5 days. Upon reaching Delhi, his car became the center of attention and people started taking selfies with the car. After this, he moved on to another one of the events, the G20 Summit. He redesigned his car and drove around Delhi to show his support to everyone and show how they can do it too.

Moving on to another celebration for the success of India, he went to Ahmedabad to celebrate the launch of Chandrayaan-3 at ISRO headquarters. There he fully celebrated with the people by showing his feeling of patriotism and love for the people and country. The famous actor and politician Manoj Tiwari was one of the people who sat in his car and showed appreciation for the Chandrayaan-3 Mission.

Amidst all this, there was another huge moment of celebration in India—the inauguration of Ram Mandir. For this, he redesigned his car with Bhagwan Ram Ji as the theme and went to Ayodhya to show his appreciation. There he received a lot of media coverage due to his immense work of showing the people how a person shows his love towards his own country and how to bring them unitedly.

All of his works in his journey have made people feel very highly for him as it is not easy for a common man to take the task of helping people in India and to come forth in a united manner. His journey has inspired many people to get out of their houses and show appreciation to the works of our country in the best possible manner just like Mr. Siddharth, who did everything to show appreciation and bring people together with the attractiveness of his car, a basic amenity.
